I'm actively involved in a special edition of the Compassion Games, created in response to the coronavirus pandemic, that launched yesterday. It's called the KARUNA GAMES, Advance of the Loving BE's.
Karuna is the Sanskrit word for compassion (and just happens to sound like corona, as in coronavirus). And the Loving BE's are:
BE Healthy   -   BE Kind  -   BE Better

We're envisioning the Karuna Games to be a positive response to the pandemic, a way to encourage people to rethink our individual and collective BE-haviors:
  • To BE Healthy includes staying home, washing your hands, and adding time each day to slow down, sit quietly -- maybe to meditate and practice mindfulness.
  • To BE Kind is to engage in thoughtful and helpful actions in your home. Pick up after yourself, share in the completion of chores, keep the bathroom clean, that sort of thing.
  • To BE Better involves thinking about the changes to your life you can make, both now and once the pandemic is over, that will allow us as a species to move forward with the lessons we are being invited to learn.
If you use Facebook it will be easy to follow along at the Compassion Games page. Stories that serve as significant inspiration will be highlighted as MV-BE's - Most Valuable BE-haviors.

If you don't use Facebook, look for my postings on the Secret Agent of Compassion website.

If at any time you have any questions, please let me know.

Game on!

Kind Living inspires people to both recognize
and engage in acts of ordinary kindness.
