Hello Kind Living Friends!

I wrote the haiku above as part of my work with World Interfaith Harmony Week, a United Nations initiative that takes place during the first week of February each year.

As part of my affiliation with the Compassion Games, I'm creating daily missions designed to promote peace and am trying to do so via haiku poetry and secret agent of compassion videos.

Today's mission relates to each of us engaging in positive acts of cooperation that help brings the world we want into being. If you want more peace, engage in an act of peace with another. Want more knowledge, teach something of value to another.

Click the image below to see the fun little video I created to promote today's mission. Yup, that's me inside the HEARTquarters of the International Kindness Team!

To a peaceful world!

FROM THE ARCHIVES - Compassion Games 2012

The first-ever Compassion Games, which has touched millions of people all over the world, began in 2012 as a light-hearted challenge from the mayor of Louisville, KY to the city of Seattle. I was tapped to create a "game" that participating residents of each city could "play," all part of seeing which city was more compassionate.

It was declared a tie (everybody wins!), with a rematch being offered each year and additional cities and groups being invited to participate.

I archived the game I created in 2012 which took place over four weeks. You can access it here.
Kind Living inspires people to both recognize
and engage in acts of ordinary kindness.
