• Organization of the Year
  Awarded to an organization or group of organizations that demonstrate significant impact on promoting sustainable transportation and a sustainable transportation-friendly environment through infrastructure, promotional programs or other similar initiatives.
   
• Advocate of the Year
  Awarded to the individual that demonstrates leadership in advancing cycling, pedestrian, and/or transit initiatives and who has exhibited a tireless commitment to promoting cycling and walking in the City.
   
• School of the Year
  Awarded to a non-Post Secondary school that has shown leadership by demonstrating their efforts to encourage cycling and pedestrian activity for their students and staff during the year.
   
• Smart Commute Employer of the Year
  Awarded to a Smart Commute Employer in the City of Hamilton that demonstrates exceptional efforts and achievement in promoting smart travel options, such as walking, cycling transit, carpooling and teleworking.

We had a great Winter Bike Day on Friday February 10th with approximately 80-90 cyclists riding to Gore Park to celebrate cycling in February.  Participants were greeted with Donut Monster donuts and hot coffee and tea from Strathcona Market.
