New look, new name, same management!
If you missed last month's note, here's the skinny: ohthatstasty.com will continue to exist, and all my best real-food recipes are still collected there, but I'm launching a new website to focus on the bigger picture of changing our lifestyles. The new website is at janasnyder.com, but it's titled "Camp Jana - explore new trails to a healthier you."
So I'm updating the look and focus of this monthly missive to jive with that.
Let me introduce you to the new site...

Newsflash: You don't have to earn your rest.
We know that too much stress and too little rest isn't good for our overall health. But one thing I've also found to be true is that when I'm running on empty, I'm more likely to be grumpy with the people around me, and make poor decisions -- especially concerning food.
It's taken me a while to learn how to rest without feeling like I need to jump up and do something. Or like I can only rest when I finish my to-do list. Here's the problem with that: Only God gets His to-do list done! So I need to stop playing God, accept my human limits, and take the rest my mind and body were designed to need.
