What's Liz Nichols up to this month? Storytelling? Laughter Yoga? Kids & Family Yoga?

Dear <<First Name>>,

Summertime, and the livin' is easy....
I hope you are finding some ease in your life this summer. A time of year that reminds us how great it is to just be in the moment - a fishing or swimming hole, a perfect peach, an outdoor concert... This July, I got to visit one of my favorite spots on earth, the South Yuba River, PLUS enjoy the amazing Sierra Storytelling Festival. Where did YOU find that moment?

I hope before August is over, we get to share a special moment together. Click on the links below to see what I'm up to, and join me!

I co-host a fabulous FREE monthly story gathering at the Orinda Library (short walk from BART). As a "story swap", we invite a featured teller and then open the floor to anyone who wants to share a story.

Click here for a video of our featured teller this month. the fabulous Linda Yemoto. For more info or to get on the mailing list for this series, email me.

Wednesday, August 23rd @ 5:30-6:30
1545 Divisadero St., SF -- 5th Floor

I occasionally sub for my friend and mentor Teresa, who runs a free laughter yoga class twice monthly at UCSF's Mt Zion campus. She even has a video of the class for you to check out. It is perfect for drop-ins. No pre-registration required.

Laughter yoga requires no super-flexibility, mats, no jokes, nothing in fact but being open to child-like playfulness. What you'll get: a complete wellness workout for mind, body and spirit. Read this article from HuffPost to learn more.

Liz Nichols uses decades of experience as a storyteller, elementary teacher, and yoga practitioner to bring The Power of Fun to all ages. She is a Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher and Certified Laughter Yoga Leader.

This month my daughter is solo-walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, where this photo was taken (not of her). I take inspiration from her openness to finding companions to share the journey.
