Next week is our last week of summer lessons and our 2013-2014 year will begin on Monday August 19th. Private lesson spots are filling up quickly so if you haven't yet signed up we recommend you do so as soon as possible. Piano lesson slots are sold out on Saturday mornings and only a few slots are left for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Click here to enroll for our private lessons and musicianship classes. Our Preschool and Early Childhood Summer Music Programs will end on Tuesday August 20th. These classes will start again on September 11th and will meet on Wednesday afternoons. SAM Summer Recital this Sunday

Come listen to our piano, guitar, and voice students perform this Sunday August 11th at 5pm at UM's St. Bede Episcopal Chapel. We'll also have some of our musicianship class students featuring their own compositions for the very first time in front of an audience. Family and friends are welcome to attend and admission is free!

SAM students receive Florida State Certificates of Excellence!

Nicolas Velasquez and Sofia Newman, both piano students of Dr. Fabiana Claure, obtained the highest grades in the state of Florida last year for their piano assessments from the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program. This enabled them to also receive the Miami Center Certificate of Excellence so they both ended up with double certificates! Certificates of Excellence are awarded to students achieving the highest mark in their center and in their state on their assessment. Certificates of Excellence are an exceptional distinction and represent a national standard of musical achievement. Congratulations to Nicolas, Sofia, and their teacher, Dr. Claure!
