Welcome to our first newsletter for the 2011-2012 year!
Dear students and parents,
We hope you are all doing well and getting used to the new school year. We also hope you are being able to successfully incorporate music study into your daily routine. Our first month has been so far pretty busy and exciting and we are really happy to have all of you with us at SAM. We've had some great press coverage in the Miami Herald, the Pinecrest Tribune, El Nuevo Herald, and the KnightArts blog. We are sending you in this newsletter the links in case you'd like to read the articles.
In the Miami Herald article we received an endorsement from the Dean of the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. He and several other UM faculty members from the Frost School attended our Grand Opening last month and expressed their support. We have posted some pictures of the event on our Facebook page
. We encourage you to "like" us on Facebook and "follow" us on our Twitter page
to stay updated with SAM's latest news. We will be posting interesting music education articles, practice tips, pictures, videos, and other related content on our social media pages.
