Dear SAM Students, Parents and Faculty,

We hope you are all doing well. Another year has gone by and we'd like to take a moment to share with you some of our recent news and successes. Our students and faculty have been busy at work and the results are proving to be very rewarding. Thank you for being a part of SAM.

SAM piano students take top prizes at Miami Dade County Fair & Expo.

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition (also known as The Youth Fair) is ranked the largest fair in Florida. Several students participated in its piano competition. Students of Miss Fomicheva: Zoe Aldana and Ryan Lam won First Place and Perfect Score. Also, Bella Latin and Anastacia Bozenova won First Place. Kyle Lam, a student of Dr. Llupa, also won First Place and Perfect Score. We congratulate all of them for their stellar performances in front of a live audience and judges. Congratulations also to their teachers Ms. Fomicheva and Dr. Llupa!

SAM voice student and faculty highlights

Jason Richardson,  voice student of  Miss Jimenez was invited by songwriter Richard Button last year to record a children’s album of his songs. The eleven-song album was recorded by Paul Hoyle, a Grammy Award-winning producer and winner of the FREC award for Best Music Producer of South Florida. The album was released in late 2016 and is currently available at PelicanJoeKids.com. Jason was also chosen for the lead as Peter Pan in the school’s mainstage production of Peter Pan this year. We congratulate both, Jason and his teacher Miss Jimenez who sang this spring at Carnegie Hall in the New York City premier of Kim André Arnesen's Requiem Mass. Congratulations!

SAM New Testimonials

We are happy to have found a program and voice teacher with whom Jason enjoys an excellent rapport. Many thanks to the Superior Academy of Music for their commitment to excellence and their wonderful support!
Julie Richardson

A great place to learn piano and other musical instruments. There are individual course and group course. And the studio rooms are soundproofed. Very friendly and skilled instructors, I learned a lot from them. And students usually have many opportunities to join different events every year.  I'm glad I attended here!
