Ontario's tourism stakeholders are invited to facilitated focus sessions on tourism in communities across the province to support the development of the Strategic Framework for Tourism in Ontario.  Read the invitation on RTO7 Connection.

RTO7 Seeks Nominations for Board Director
Nominations and applications are now being accepted to fill one vacancy on RTO7’s Board of Directors.  Applicants must be from Bruce, Grey or Simcoe Counties and possess senior level skills in some of these areas:  tourism, strategy, organizational leadership, risk, financial literacy or other relevant skills with the ability to give strategic oversight of RTO7.  Deadline to apply is April 30, 2016.  For more information on RTO7 and to submit an application, visit our Board of Directors page.

Regional Tourism Organization 7 is seeking proposals from experienced suppliers for the provision of a Tourism Strategic Action Plan for the City of Orillia.  Please visit the RFPs/RFQs page on our website for complete details. 

Tap into Tourism Postponed
Tap into Tourism, a career day for high school students in the region, was scheduled for March 2nd at Georgian College in Owen Sound and was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.  This is the third annual event for students, which is held in partnership with RTO7 and the public and Catholic school boards of Grey/Bruce and Simcoe in alternate years with a focus on tourism as a career choice.  Rescheduling the event is currently underway with a tentative date for mid-May.
