December 2015 Holiday Update

Best wishes from all of us at RTO7 for a warm and happy festive season with family and friends!

BruceGreySimcoe Tourism Conference a Success!
Thank you to all who attended the BruceGreySimcoe Tourism Conference at beautiful Meaford Hall on December 9th to make this first annual event a huge success.  It was a day filled with engaging and informative speakers, great food and drink and awesome networking opportunities.  Check out the Conference page on RTO7.ca for speaker presentations, photos and more.

Survey
If you attended the conference but missed filling out the survey on professional development needs, here’s your chance!  Access the survey by clicking here.

Add Your 2016 Events
It’s that time of year again!  Time to add your 2016 tourism events to the BruceGreySimcoe.com Festivals and Events microsite.  No log in or registration required – just visit the “Submit Your Event” page to start adding your info.  Our winter advertising campaign has started with the festival and event site as one of the featured components in our digital campaign.  There were just over 93,000 visits to the festival and event site in 2015, so be sure to take advantage of this free promotional opportunity.

And, did you know?  RTO7.ca has an industry events calendar where upcoming tourism industry related events can be posted.  If you have seminars, workshops, information sessions, conferences or other events, email them directly to us at info@rto7.ca so we can add them to the calendar.
