Dear <<First Name>>,

As volunteers for Forerunner we have been able to see so many beautiful projects over the past few months. We receive newsletters and updates from more than 40 connected projects, but we also meet 'the people behind those projects' on a regular basis. It is so wonderful to see how each person lays down his life for the glory of Jesus in his own unique way. Not choosing for an easy life, but daily choosing to die on yourself, like a seed that falls into the ground and produces fruit.
We are inspired by the stories and lives of the people behind the Forerunner projects. We are happy to share that inspiration with you! This time we will hear from one of the new projects: 'Day and night we pray' how they experienced their first steps as prayer missionaries.

Day and night we pray
David and Katharina Pronk are the faces behind this beautiful project. They have 2 beautiful children: Penelope (4 years) and Phineas (2 years), number three is on their way. Since July 2019 they live in Augsburg/Germany, where David visits a bible school to become a prayer missionary. During this school he spends 4 hours every day in the prayer room.
Besides being a mother, Katharina is active as a singing teacher in the prayer house.  She is in the prayer room in the mornings, when the children are in the nursery.
David and Katharina do these things because they see this as God's calling on their lives: to worship God day and night and to rebuild his temple.

What do you do as a prayer missionary, and why?
Why do you quit your job and move to become a prayer missionary? David and Katharina got a lot of questions about this from their environment... By the way, they are not the only ones. The term 'prayer missionary' is not popular in the Western Church. Nevertheless, many of the projects at Forerunner are (aimed at) places of worship.

Internal developments Forerunner
The Forerunner Foundation consists of more than 40 wonderful projects working around the same vision, namely: 'Working together to call, serve and equip people in prayer and justice, to prepare the nations for the coming of the Lord and His Kingdom'.
Behind all these projects there is a board and a small team who support projects in areas such as financial administration and communication. There is a process going on in which God gives fresh vision and direction for the role of this team within the greater whole. The past few months we have prayed, brainstormed, written and talked a lot about this.  In the next newsletter we can share more about how this is taking shape, so keep an eye on your mailbox.

New Grace Mission - India
In the previous newsletter we shared the great news that a large donation had come in to buy land for a building for the Jena family in India. They want to use this building to give the children and young people they care for a good home and to use it as a centre for their evangelism and equipment activities in that area.
The last couple of months extra donations have come in so we could give Johan a nice starting amount to India. He has been there to support them in making building plans and in their other activities. Soon we will also receive a newsletter from Johan with a nice travel report. If you don't receive his newsletter but would like to, please let him know.
We are allowed to give a sneak preview:

What is Forerunner?
We exist to establish prayer and justice in the nations. We work with friends, organizations and ministries around the world to see this vision become reality.
