Will America's suffrage martyr, Inez Milholland, be lost in the shuffle? Not if you take action ASAP!
Sign the digital petition on change.org. Let's bring Inez Milholland out of the shadows by making sure President Obama awards Inez with a presidential citizens medal to honor her contributions and the effort of tens of thousands of our family members who worked hard to win women's voting rights from 1848 to 1920. The petition is in support of the nomination to award a Presidential Citizens Medal to Inez Milholland Boissevain, attorney and American suffrage martyr (1886-1916) on the 2016 centennial of her death on November 25, 1916.

Nominated by California U.S. Representative Jackie Speier, the awarding of the medal is supported by organizations and individuals across the nation who have signed the petition and sent letters and postcards to the White House.

Marguerite says: "This presidential citizens medal for Inez means a great deal to me because my grandmother Edna knew Inez and worked with her. "
