Spring into Tango in the coming months
Dear <<First Name>>
Its the first month of Spring here in the southern hemisphere - and there's plenty happening in our tango world - including a visit by Virginia Pandolfi and Jonaton Aguero in September!
There's a new tango calendar...Sydney's tango calendar has kept Sydney dancers and visitors up to date on tango events for over a decade but no-one has attempted a national calendar until now. Not yet complete, this tango calender, Bailartoday, promises to be a great source of what's happening if it is kept current.
The new tango band Just Us Tango wowed Sydney at 2 performances in August. Just Us Tango is Rodolfo Caivano on bandoneon, Danilo Rojas on piano, and Diego Neder on bass, Helena Popovic on violin and Charles Hudson supplying vocals.  They live up to their publicity which describes this band as having "Argentine roots, nimble fingers, and classical training, this quintet knows how tango music should sound".
Plus there are new tango world champions.
What's new in your tango world? If we have missed any news or special events please email me and we will be sure to include them in the next newsletter.

Yours in tango,
Carol
