Australian Tango News for November

Dear <<First Name>>

In the countdown to the end of the year there are some amazing musical events coming your way. Tango musicians in Australia used to be rare, but more and more young musicians are discovering this music and delving into the huge archive of music and the orchestras who played. At the height of Golden Age tango in Buenos Aires there were more than 50 orchestras playing - not all first class - but all with a devoted following.
We are fortunate to be able to delve into this treasure trove with the many recordings that survive and even more fortunate that today's musicians are able to transcribe this music and perform it for us.
I hope you can make it to at least one live music gig this month and support the musicians whose dedication bring us a very special experience.
Yours in tango,

Pablito's in Sydney are planning to host Lorena Ermocida and Pancho Martinez in May and in the latter part of the year Sydney Tango House will present their second Australian Tango Festival
A live music performance is a wonderful way to introduce non-tango dancers to tango music and an opportunity to listen to and enjoy some of Australia's leading young tango musicians.
