Welcome from Dan
I continue to see people stepping out with big audacious projects here in the last quarter of the year. David Powers
just bought a collection of 40,000 comic books. He is confident he can triple his investment and keep select originals for his own personal collection. Matthew Casteel
has ramped up his VA business – now employing 15 virtual assistants full time. Erich Kurschat
just spent a week in Switzerland presenting his workshop after a participant heard him speak in Chicago. It appears people with ideas are not being held back by the “economy” or the impending elections. They just create a plan of action and seize opportunities regardless of circumstances.
Be sure to check out the business opportunity I offered this week. If you have a plan for distributing 4,000 copies of the Spanish version of 48 Days to the Work You Love
you could handle your Christmas budget and more. Need an extra $14,000?
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live
in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
- Theodore Roosevelt
Are you overlooking your opportunity?
Antonio Pasin came to the U.S. in 1914 at the age of 16. He had a dream of having his own business but he had no money and found it difficult to even get a job at only 16. Finally, he was able to start a small cabinet making business. To haul his tools to his shop every day he made a small wagon that he pulled along. But seeing the wagon, his customers began requesting one for their children – and the Radio Flyer was born. Read more
Hypnagogia – yeah, you want this...
I love Sundays. After lunch Joanne and I typically share about whatever books we’re currently reading and then take a leisurely nap. Being on no particular schedule we can drift into and out of sleep.
I especially love that time that is just in between being awake and being asleep. That time that is referred to as “threshold consciousness” where dreams are indistinguishable from waking, where out of body experiences are common and ideas can be merged with supernatural wisdom and insight. Yes, it actually has a name – Hypnagogia. Read more
How do I dream bigger?
Last week I received this question from a podcast listener:
“How do I dream bigger? I am 29 and have outgrown my prior big dreams by God’s good grace. Once one has achieved what they previously thought impossible, how do you stretch your dreams to be even bigger and better? The ultimate goal is to achieve His will and I am being stretched to recognize exactly what that is as big goals are achieved quickly.” Read more
Have you ever wished they'd start the merry-go-round again so you could get on a different horse?
The word “interview” is derived from a Latin word that means "to see about each other."
Humor - Little more work time
A pastor was bragging that it only took him the time to walk from the parsonage to the church to get his Sunday sermon so the congregation bought him a new house 10 miles from the church.
