Freshly brewed Livery news because you asked for it. And we love you.
Greetings Beer & Music Lovers,
New brews and music comin' achta...

Special beer release on Wednesday, 2/12 - Sojourner.  Sojourner is a big (9.8% ABV) Black Ale that is malt focused but balanced by a really nice flavorful hop bitterness.  This beer, created by Nick Koukourakis, won the SWMI Beer Club homebrew contest in Fall 2013.  Nick and Sawyer brewed Sojourner in December and we're psyched to begin pouring. The release coincides with the monthly SWMI Beer Club home brew tasting event (2nd Wednesdays) - which is always open to the age 21+ public.

Recently added to the line-up...
Lost Jacket is a Lactose Double IPA weighing in at 10% ABV....boom.  It maintains a velvety smooth milk stout-like texture as it kicks your teeth in with nearly 90 IBU’s of 100% Chinook hops.

Bop Gun, a Woodford Reserve Vanilla Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Porter.  The bourbon and vanilla flavors complement the roasted chocolaty notes of the porter.  Bop Gun is surprisingly light bodied and easy drinking for its 9% ABV.

Coming soon...
Polar Vortex Maibock, 9% ABV sweet smooth caramel malt love
Rye Whyless - a rye double India red ale, 7.7 ABV...big hop nose and flavor balanced by spicy rye malty-ness. (Named for the wildly talented indie-baroque band River Whyless from North Carolina)
SMaSH Centennial 6% ABV.  Centennials 4 evuh.
Schwarzbier - 8% lager. silky smooth.

And for those heading to Grand Rapids for the Michigan Brewer's Guild Winter Beer Fest on February 22, here's the line up...

Bastard Cousin – BBA Rye, Oat, Chocolate Milk Stout
Woodford Reserve Barrel Aged Bop Gun  – Imperial Vanilla Bourbon Porter
