Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter

What a great summer Woodlife Trails has had! Thanks a lot to those of you who came along to see us at any one of the many shows we attended this summer. It was great fun but tiring. Even our exhibits are looking the worse for wear; but nothing that a bit of sewing can't fix!

We can still bring our nature exhibits to your location during the autumn and winter. It's a great educational tool. We'll tell you all about them and the tracks and signs you can find in the woods. We will also tell you about other aspects of natural history, primitive & wilderness living, woodland management, woodland awareness, tracking, or just about anything to do with outdoors. It will be a brilliant day full of fun and education for the kids (and adults). We can even take you for an awareness walk in your own local woods. Go here for details.

You can also go to our Pick and Mix page to tell us exactly what you want.

Woodland Tracker Course

New for 2012 will be our Woodland Tracker Course. This is an Intermediate level course for those of you who want to enhance your tracking skills especially for a woodland environment. Read more...

Countryside & Woodland Awareness

Next year we will be running one Countryside and Woodland Awareness course every two months instead of once a month. This will allow us to run more weekend courses. Read more...

The Last Forest

We maintain our association with the National Trust at Hatfield Forest and will continue do so throughout 2012. We are extremely grateful to them for sharing the "Last Forest" at Hatfield, North Essex. If nothing else, come on one of the courses to experience this very special place.

Woodlife Diploma

We only have a couple of places left on our Woodlife Trails Diploma programme for 2012.
This is the ultimate Bushcraft, Tracking, Natural History and Wilderness living course! If you want a well rounded education relating to the Natural World, a huge toolbox full of Bushcraft skills and the knowledge and ability to Track virtually any UK animal, then you need to sign up for this course.

...And Finally...

Don't forget to visit our website at and, of course, the Woodlife Network Community. There's plenty going on for lovers of the natural world.
Join us and discover a new world of Wildlife, Tracking and Bushcraft!
Have a great autumn.
JP and Pablo.
