WEBSTER AREA: News-worthy jobs

Kickin' off 2013 right -- Day County Jobs all over the news!

On January 23, Matt Peterson of KSFY News traveled to Webster to learn about the many job opportunities available here in our area. Interim director, Melissa Fose, was thrilled to share the great news about our successful businesses and great communities in Day County. Check out the
full story.

The following day, we received a call from Jeff from Big Stone Radio in Milbank. He wanted to know what is in the water, and Fose was happy to continue spreading the word, live on-air on January 30.

We've been working hard to get the word out about the great things happening in the Webster Area -- and we hope you'll continue helping us with that too!

TIPS: Keep in touch with marketing + check out these great resources

Another couple of months have flown by and a new year has come. Are you keeping in touch with your friend, Marketing?
Don’t worry, this isn’t a public poll. And, whether or not you have, I have a few tips for all to stay connected with the marketing needs of your business.

  • Find a great newsletter.
Finally—an email you can look forward to! One full of great, helpful marketing ideas from professionals working in the industry day in and day out. A good post can boost your inspiration and help you to keep business marketing on top of your to-do list.

  • Attend an online training.
You don’t have time to leave the office or travel to attend a good marketing training. Many experts are willing to offer webinars at no cost for the opportunity to include a couple slides about their consulting services. And, you can often times find a recorded version of a webinar if a scheduling conflict arises.

  • Read articles or follow a blog.
Set aside some time each week to catch up on a few marketing blogs or articles. These resources often share best practices and focus on topics that can get you thinking about your own marketing strategy
Now, time for the links. Below you will find a list of resources that I have found helpful. I hope they also prove to be helpful to you!
