Dear Green Ambassadors,
Hello <<First Name>>:
Carol A. Mullaney
I’m very pleased to introduce you to Greg Koehler, who joined our Office of Sustainability team in January. Greg will be leading all of our staff engagement programs and initiatives, including the Green Ambassador program. Greg has a B.S. in Biology and a Masters in Environmental Science. His previous career experience includes teaching sustainability, biology and mathematics courses at various local universities and launching and managing the Purple Porch Co-op, among other things. We’re excited about the experience and knowledge he brings to the University and look forward to the re-energizing of our Green Ambassador Program.
We’re very excited for what 2020 will bring in the area of sustainability. It is a year in which we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day (April 22nd) and the 5th anniversary of Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home. Our Office of Sustainability team members, along with partners across campus, are planning several special events and programs this year, and we look forward to your involvement in them.
Please join me in welcoming Greg to Notre Dame. He will be contacting you directly with more information.
