Our staff raised funds for the United Way of Greater St. Louis's annual campaign by delivering baked goodies to local businesses on October 14! There is still time to support the campaign (which ends Oct. 31). Visit www.stl.unitedway.org.

- Auvi-Q to Return to the Market:
The epinephrine auto-injector to be sold again in 2017.
- The Contract is Official: AAFA-STL is proud to announce that our contract w/ Well Care/Missouri Care is OFFICIAL! We can now subcontract w/ providers to provide in-home asthma education and environmental assessments. This is a great step forward for our agency! Additionally, we have a grant from Well Care in Illinois (Harmony), to provide similar services in the Metro East.
- T-21 Ordinance: There was a successful first read of the Tobacco 21 Ordinance in the City of St. Louis this past Friday (this ordinance, if passed, will raise the legal age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21 in St. Louis City). The initiative has been sent to the Health and Human Services Committee. In September, T-21 passed in St. Louis County.
