School Nurse RESCUE Program in the Spotlight at ACAAI 2016
AAFA-STL was invited to present a poster abstract about the outcomes from our school nurse RESCUE program at the 2016 American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) Annual Meeting in San Francisco! We reported that nearly 85% of students last year were able to return to the classroom after being treated with a piece of asthma equipment supplied by AAFA-STL to the school. Pictured here at the presentation (L to R): Reagan Nelson, Emily Vandas, Joy Krieger and local allergist, Dr. Manoj Warrier.
