April 2020
Discover the free online resources available on
our website at the Champaign County Library!

Access digital books, movies, classes, research resources, and more with your library card.

So much has changed in such a short time.

Unfortunately, the library will remain physically closed while the Stay at Home order and social distancing guidelines remain in effect.  I’m hopeful that once conditions stabilize in Ohio, we’ll be allowed to reopen the drive up window and then the building itself.

Until then, staff continue to think of ways to stay engaged with the community online.  Hopefully, we’ll have some fun videos to share soon.  If you have not checked out our online resources, please do so.  We have ebooks, eaudio, and evideo but we also have Lynda.com where you can learn some new skills.  There is a lot to explore in digitized Urbana newspapers.  You could spend all day keyword searching your family, friends, businesses, etc!

If you need any assistance with your account, don’t hesitate to contact us.  You can call the library and leave a message or email reference@champaigncountylibrary.org.  We can update your PIN, help with any issues you may have with online resources or anything else to satisfy your library crave.

All of the items you have checked out won't be due until after we reopen so don’t worry about trying to get items back until then.  When that time comes, we’ll be ready to gear up for the Summer Reading Program!

Look for updates at champaigncountylibrary.org or our Facebook page.

We’ll see you soon!

Champaign County children under age five can sign up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and receive a children's book delivered to their home every month. There is no cost to your family to take part in the program. Your child will get a new book in the mail every month until they turn five.

The United Way of Clark, Champaign & Madison Counties formed a coalition of local educators, libraries, and community partners dedicated to early childhood literacy in order to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to children of this area.  Click
