A melon named Kensington?! Hers Farm • Suncrest peaches • They say they came from Memphis
Hers Farm is back this Sunday Yang and his family came to the U.S. from Thailand in 1985. They are Hmong and have been farming for the past twenty years in Merced. The only people who work on the farm are family. Yang has grown a delicious melon for our market for years. It is uniquely sweet and a real summer treat, he calls it the Kensington melon. He and his brother will be bringing that along with freshly harvested ginger, watermelons, asian vegetables, eggplants, corn and tomatoes all grown in the central valley.
Come and get it!
Best of the season,
