Friends of Tin Roof Society,

2016 has been a remarkable year of growth and zeroing in for Tin Roof Society. Our mission of “Connecting Generosity With Opportunity”  has remained the same, but we’ve spent the last twelve months focused solely to East Africa. We’ve dedicated this last year to work on cultivating cultures of generosity in local churches, college campuses, slums and corporate spaces throughout Kenya. It has been a joy and privilege to see so many stories of life-change unfolding. Stories of kindness, stories of transformation, and stories of the lasting hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ. These stories are only possible because of your faithful support. (See Below!)

Thank you for trusting us to meet needs and invest in world-changing movements on your behalf.  You have truly done some good things this year!

Will you do it again? Will you help us meet needs and seize opportunities in Kenya in the days ahead? Here are the ways we need your help:

Thank you for all we have been able to do and will do together in East Africa.

With Gratitude,

Shawn Koonce

Your support has allowed the Koonce Family to share the Gospel and biblical principles with thousands of young people through KKrew Bible Study, Inuka Leadership Training, Kubamba, school missions, as well as on radio and television throughout Kenya.

Your support provided education to two sisters, Diana and Nessie, at WorldHope Academy when their single mother could not afford the tuition.
We were able to host TRS's first Raw Leadership Summit where Tawanda, along with 81 young, East African leaders, learned servant leadership from African and US Christian business leaders.
We rallied together to pay for urgent cancer treatments for Merlyn, a sixteen year old, Kenyan girl battling and beating cancer.
Barbara benefited from a scholarship to complete an intensive ten week course through Inuka Leadership Training, which trains young African leaders to be godly, servant leaders.
Together, we were able to provide a roof, bed, clothes and food each month for sixteen year old Clinton who lost both of his parents at an early age.
Watson and 140 other local security guards were appreciated, practically shown the love of Christ and the generosity of His people through our Simply Do Good movement.  Watson said, "No one has ever done anything kind like this for me before."
