Ten people rescued from Caloosahatchee River after boat sinks

Ten people were rescued from the Caloosahatchee River Saturday afternoon after a 32-foot boat hit the Cape Coral Bridge and sank.

Fried to lead embattled Florida Democrats

Nikki Fried, the last Democrat to hold a statewide office in Florida, was selected Saturday to chair the Florida Democratic Party as it looks to recover from its latest disastrous election cycle.
