Build your own Predictive Lead Scoring App!
Predictive lead scoring is among the most common applications and use cases for machine learning. If you have historical sales and pipeline data, it should be pretty straightforward to build a model predicting and targeting new leads in your sales pipeline.
However, BigML has taken this one step further by showing you how to integrate a BigML lead scoring model for Salesforce.com, using Talend Open Studio as an ETL.
Build your own Predictive Lead Scoring App!
In addition to the blog post, we’ve created a comprehensive tutorial that will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to implement this in your own organization.

And needless to say, this can also be done for other CRM platforms and via other ETL tools. Contact us today if you’re interested in getting help creating a lead scoring solution for your company!
PAPIs.io – The World’s First Predictive Apps & API Conference
It’s not too late to register for PAPIs.io – the first international conference on predictive apps and APIs.

The speakers and schedule have now been posted, including Day One tutorials from BigML, Dataiku, Indico, Intuitics, Openscoring, Rapid Miner, Yhat and PredictionIO – followed by a Hack Night replete with code, beer and patatas bravas!  On Day Two you’ll get expert perspectives and case studies from IBM, Microsoft, AXA and more! Learn more about the sessions and speakers here.

Be sure to register today, and we’ll look forward to seeing you in Barcelona!
Anomaly detection in action
Ever since BigML featured Anomaly Detection as part of our Summer Release, we’ve had a lot of great feedback and interest from many of you who are seeking to use this functionality to build fraud detectors, identify outliers or to simply normalize your data.
Anomaly detection in action
For those of you eager to learn more about how to put BigML’s Anomaly Detection into use, be sure to check out the archived video and slides from our webinar. Also, see this blog post where BigML’s VP of Data Science David Gerster quickly finds anomalous biopsies from a breast cancer dataset.

New Feature: Cluster Summary Report
Many of you enjoy the insights provided in BigML’s model summary reports, which uses machine learning to tell you the relative importance of each field in a predictive model. Good news: based on user demand, you can now download a Summary Report for your BigML Clusters.

This report will inform you on the distribution of data across your clusters, as well as the associated features and data distances. Learn more here.

BigML growing Down Under
BigML growing Down Under

Last month we launched a dedicated version of BigML for customers in Australia & New Zealand in conjunction with BigML partner GCS Agile. We’ve already seen great growth and adoption of the site – and also had the opportunity to meet with many companies and data practitioners during a 2-week kick-off event in the region. If you are a solutions delivery company and are interested in partnering on a similar go-to-market effort in your region or vertical, please contact us today.
