President's Message

Greetings,

Our first lecture will be on Friday. September 25th at 7pm at Haines. Our lecturer is David Kaplan, also known as "The Great Kaplan".  His lecture is called  "Tips, Tricks and Stunts". It is a comedic presentation with theory, tricks, gags and advice that can be put to use in real world performing situations. He will also talk about the electronics he uses in his act. This will be an entertaining, informative and fun lecture!
Also, a reminder that dues are due and we will be accepting them at the meeting. Regular membership dues are $35, and dues for Associates and Juniors is only $20.
A little teaser for upcoming events... We are bringing back the close up contest! It will be held on Friday, October 23rd.  Let's make this a great competition!
Our annual Holiday Banquet will be on  Saturday, November 14th, 2015.    The entertainment for the evening will be IBM President Elect Oscar Munoz!  More information on the contest and the banquet to come.

Yours in Magic,
Sir Pat-Trick

SAVE THE DATE!
Our Winter Banquet is now our Pre-Holiday Banquet!  Saturday, November 14th will be the time for us to kick off the Holiday season together!   This earlier date (as opposed to mid-January or February) should be more favorable for travel and for the non-cancellation of this great event of fun, food and magic!  More details about location, price and reservations will be forthcoming. Children of all ages are welcome to join us!
IBM President Elect Oscar Munoz will be our entertainment for the evening.

He is known throughout the state of Texas as the leading specialist in the field of educational and motivational magic shows for students of all ages and grade levels.
