Dear <<First Name>>,

It was a delight to meet you this fall at the NACAC 2014 Visual and Performing Artists College Fair in <<Location of Fair>> and to learn more about your interests in music. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and learn more about Ohio State. I hope that you can visit us here in Columbus because as a student in the arts, one of the best ways to see if a university is right for you is to meet the faculty and see the facilities. If you can't make it here in person, I highly recommend taking part in our virtual tour on YouVisit.

I’ve copied my colleagues Tim Leasure, Chair of Undergraduate Studies in Music, and Bruce Henniss, Professor of Horn, whom you should email with any specific questions that you might have. If you would like to arrange an audition, please contact the School of Music.

Thank you once again for your enthusiasm in the arts, and I look forward to showing you Ohio State in person.

Have a wonderful rest of the semester and peaceful holidays!

Sincerely,

Garett R. Heysel, Ph.D.

Discover Columbus

Called a “Midwestern style capital” by the New York Times and one of the top-ten “Best Places to Live” by Money Magazine, Columbus is second only to Boston for number of college students. Nearly half the population falls within the 18-44 age group. Gallup rates Columbus the No. 2 metropolitan area for jobs, and we enjoy the second-highest employment rate in the country for young adults.
