NEW DC Subcontracting Bill
On November 19, 2019, DC Council introduced a B23-0545 bill which "would prohibit contractors from subcontracting work to companies in which they have an ownership stake to fulfill the law’s requirements."  Read more and follow the outcome.

ECONOMY: Food Stamp Changes
A new ruling on December 4, 2019, via the USDA, made changes to SNAP.  The USDA rule change affects people between the ages of 18 and 49 who are childless and not disabled, and will save the US $5.5 billion dollars over five years.  How will this impact those in the District?
