We are very excited to be starting the year with more good news for HISEZ. We are in the process of becoming Scotland's first Impact Hub. Over the next few months we will work towards becoming a Hub and join an International network of over 80 which are part innovation labs, part business incubators, and part community centres. Very similar to the ethos of HISEZ, Impact Hubs provide a welcoming space for individuals and organisations to work, meet, share resources, create new ideas, find answers to old problems and to generally make their community a better place as a result. We first visited an Impact Hub on our trip to Japan nearly two years ago and instantly felt drawn to the model. We thought that this is what HISEZ strives to do and so why not join a global community and share and learn from each other. It can only improve the way we work and make us even more creative in our enterprise. We often have more in common with rural communities on the other side of the world than we do with our more urban neighbours. We want to inspire people to do better, connect people and to encourage creativity in enterprise. Take a look at the Impact Hub website
to find out more. Meanwhile there are plenty of events coming up to tell you about. You will see the free Just Enterprise courses coming up in Inverness in the side-bar. Just click on the course name and it will take you straight to the booking form.
