DCCH Center for Children & Families is in need of volunteers to help prepare for our annual Flea Market BIG SALE. Donations, such as furniture, clothing, collectibles and antiques, are sorted, cleaned, priced and sold. All proceeds generated from this special event go to help victims of child abuse.  Ideal candidates should be:

  • Able to lift/ carry items weighing 25 lbs. or less
  • Comfortable handling money

DCCH is blessed to have so many wonderful people who volunteer their time and talent, not the least of which are the women and men who serve on the DCCH Board of Directors.  This past May, four people finished their board terms and will leave the board. 

We are so grateful to Jerry Deatherage, Tony Griffin, Sister Reinette Kroeger, S.N.D. and Gerry Zembrodt for their service and dedication to the mission of DCCH.  DCCH is a better place because of you.Thank you.  

There's been some recent staff promotions at DCCH.  Named to new positions are:

Doug Harlow - Director of Therapeutic Behavioral Specialists/PQI
Cheryl Ross - Residential Treatment Director
Nicole Murone - 1 Rear Apartment Supervisor
Colton Callery - 2 Rear Apartment Supervisor

DCCH Director Emeritus Sister Jean Marie Hoffman S.N.D. is the Grand Marshall of the Fort Mitchell 4th of July parade this year.  She will be riding on the DCCH Float.  Yes...we have a float this year. Start time is 12:30 p.m. Look for the palm trees.  All of us at DCCH wish you a happy, safe 4th of July weekend.
