And then comes the end...

As you read in the budget documents for the AGM, there is $0 allocated for MB Herald in 2020, which means – subject to the AGM vote on the budget at EQUIP – the Winter 2020 issue (January) will be the last print copy of the Herald.

According to a new communications strategy, mbherald.com will continue to share news from CCMBC’s partners. (See "Collaborative Communication" on page 3 of the AGM Handbook.)

What you can do

We have two requests from our readers to honour the history of MB Herald, a magazine created in 1962

to serve the brotherhood in manifold ways:…to educate and to edify; to inform and to in-spire; to foster love and loyalty for Christ and his church; to broaden our vision…; to credit our virtues and criticize our vices.

Send us your memories

  • Which is your favourite column/columnist (past or present)? Why?
  • Has an MB Herald story changed your perspective? Tell us how?
  • What MB Herald stories remained with you years after reading them?
Send email

Send us your prayers

Several groups have collected their thoughts to form a “community prayer”:
Fort Garry MB college and career,
Sardis Community Church care group,
Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel.

We’d like to collect the voices of our readers.

What are your prayers for the MB family?

Consider the prompts below to start a sentence:
  • Thank you for leading us to…
  • May we become…
  • May we be known as…
Send email
Please share this request with fellow congregation members who may be reading print copies only.

Don’t forget: Letters to the Editor on current content are always welcome. Email to mbherald@mbchurches.ca.
