Rhythm in NoMa Evening Concerts Debut Thursday
NoMa’s first evening concert of the year kicks off Thursday evening with free libations and fantastic tunes from DC local Johnny Artis, a R&B musician. Bring a friend, neighbor and your family, and swing over to the Rhythm in NoMa Evening Concerts! These free evening performances are held the last Thursday of each month, May – September, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Union Kitchen Lot at Third and L Streets, NE.

 NoMa Summer Screen: Star Trek
Come out to the Loree Grand field tonight at 7 p.m. to watch Star Trek: The Future Begins under the stars. The film starts at sunset. All movies are screened with subtitles. Coolers, children and friendly (leashed) dogs are welcome. Bring a blanket, Frisbee, or picnic cooler and connect with friends and neighbors as you enjoy great films. Food trucks this week are @DougtheFoodDude@PoppedRepublic@BigCheeseTruck, and @OrangeCow. NoMa Summer Screen kicked off last Wednesday with over 600 people and music, giveaways, food trucks, picnicking, and fun for the whole family. The 2013 theme of this award-winning outdoor film series is OUTLAW HEROES, and features classic American westerns, space invasion thrillers, ‘80s comedies, and more.
