UAB Summer Commencement 2018

UAB Libraries would like to congratulate all upcoming graduates! The Commencement Ceremony for students receiving graduate degrees and certificates (except O.D., M.D., and D.M.D.) will be on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 6pm. The commencement ceremony for students receiving bachelor’s degrees will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 9:30am. Make sure you have completed your To-Do List for Summer Graduates, which can be found HERE.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month!

Are you up to date on your vaccines? You can view immunization schedules for all ages on the CDC’s website.

For clinically relevant information, UAB Libraries provides access to AAP Red Book Online, the authoritative full text of the American Academy of Pediatrics Report of the Committee on Infectious Diseases. This resource includes immunization schedules, a vaccine status table with current information about recently submitted, licensed and recommended vaccines and biologics, as well as infectious disease news, influenza resources and a visual library for use in diagnosis.
