MONTHLY DINNER AND LECTURE
Insha Allah on Friday July 1st, we will have our community potluck dinner followed by lecture as detailed below:
7:30 PM Dinner
8:45 PM Maghrib Salah
9:00 PM Lecture followed by Q&A session
10:10 PM Isha Salah
Lecture Topic: "Blessing of the first 10 days of Dhulh Hijjah”
Lecture By: Imam Jawad Rasul
This will be a potluck dinner; as such each family is requested to bring at least one dish. We request everyone to attend the community dinner as well as the guest lecture.
QURAN TAJWEED & RECITATION CLASS FOR SISTERS
Class teaches Qur’an reading rules (Tajweed) and proper recitation techniques.
When: Every Sunday
Time: 10 am to 12 pm CT
Location: Online. Zoom
Cost: Free
Instructor:: Sr. Riham Awwad
Sr. Riham has studied Tajweed for several years and teaches Quran at several masajid. She is working on earning Ijaza to teach Tajweed rules and also on Qur’an memorization.
