NCPM Proclamation Contest Winner
Congratulations to Adam Fulton, Community Development Director for Hermantown, Minnesota (and APA MN board treasurer), the winner of this year's Coast-to-Coast National Community Planning Month Proclamation Contest. He will receive a complimentary copy of the PAS report Street Graphics and the Law. Hermantown was selected at random from 41 communities in 24 states
that submitted proclamations this year.

AICP Exam Registration
If AICP certification is one of your professional goals, get ready to act. The month-long window to apply for the May 2016 Comprehensive Planning Exam
opens on December 1. If you apply by December 7 you'll receive an early response; if your application is disapproved, you can address deficiencies and reapply for the May exam.

New Transportation and Health Tool
A new tool from the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Centers for Disease Control allows comparisons between state or metropolitan area on transportation and public health indicators. Main indicators are available through an online interactive map

Mapping Traffic Fatalities
The Metrocosm website has a new interactive map
showing every death on every U.S. road from 2003 to 2014. This map displays a point for each person who died in a vehicle crash during that time period, coded by age, gender, and role (e.g. driver, passenger, pedestrian, etc.)
