’s highly-anticipated October 6 launch, Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. (“Harmonix”) today announced that the first major feature update for the title will be released on December 8, 2015 for both Xbox One and the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system.
This first major feature update will be available to all players for free, and will focus on exciting new social and competitive features, along with some surprises for fans. “We’ve said that we’re viewing Rock Band 4 as a platform that we will build on over time,” added Product Manager Daniel Sussman, “and this first feature update is just the beginning; we can’t wait to share more details after launch.”
