Blazing heat, hot prospects - IES Graduation 2015
The IES celebrated the first wave of IES-VUB Master graduates for 2015 on July 1. The students were tested until the very last moment as the gown-wearing graduates received their diplomas in record high temperatures in a ceremony at the Institute.
Steven Engels, Euromaster alumnus, currently working at the European Commission as Economic Analyst and European Semester Officer, reminded the students in his Graduation speech to cherish this precious moment. The degree, as too many other achievements in life, will turn into something self-evident and ordinary soon enough. Yet, it was only with hard work and determination that the degree became a possibility. The dramatic developments served as a reminder of the importance of education as a means of securing employment and prosperity in modern society. Read more >>>
The IES congratulates the newly graduated students whole-heartedly, and wishes those students preparing to graduate in September the best of luck on their examinations.
