2017 will see our Eurodesk Multipliers' Awards in June and our flagship campaign Time to Move in October. You will find us in our various offices in Europe as well as in events, such as the Yo!Fest! in 2017, Eurodesk will continue to voice the importance of youth mobility and youth information to build more tolerant and democratic societies.

Aarhus (Denmark) and Pafos (Cyprus) take the places of San Sebastian and Wroclaw as the two European Capitals of Culture for 2017. They will have a year of music, theatre, dance, film and literature events showing their culture to the world.

The EU programme Erasmus will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2017 and the Erasmus+ web page is dedicated to the occasion. Throughout the year, there will be events all over Europe to mark the anniversary.

Launch of the Youth Initiative
On 7th December 2016 the European Commission presented its Youth Initiative containing several key actions aimed at supporting young people in Europe. The four key areas of critical importance for young people are: employment; mobility; solidarity and participation; education and training.
