A mysterious red light switch allows unsuspecting New Yorkers to turn on over 50,000 Christmas lights. What fun!

December News:

It was a great week with exhibits opening at at Mirada Fine Art, Denver metro, the Lone Tree Arts Center Colorado, and at the Arden's Gallery, River Oaks, Houston. All of the openings were very successful and many thanks to all who came, everyone that organized the exhibits and to those who purchased and commissioned works. It is already a happy and successful December. All of these exhibits will be up through December 31.

My website and art blog have just been redesigned for clarity and ease of use. This is where you can see all of my available works and follow along as I discuss what is happening in the studio.

I'll soon be announcing dates for the Making it Fine Art Workshops in early 2016. I was honored last month to have been sponsored by the Colorado Pastel Society and Colorado Springs Art Guild with workshops for their groups. These workshop are stimulating for everyone, including myself and happily, I created new pastels and oils as a direct result of those in-workshop demos. The pressure was on!

Wherever you are, I your hope December is a joyful and peaceful one.
Happy Holidays everyone!

At the Denver International Airport

Should you find yourself at the Denver Airport, take the time to view my work and those of my gifted Expand artists / collogues reproduced in the Main Terminal. You will see the images between the baggage claim areas and behind the car rental counters. This “Here to There” themed display was curated by the DIA Art and Culture Program. The airport desired more color in the main terminal spaces and happily, we were allowed to use it as our playground. Many thanks to my fellow artists and everyone that made this possible!

Our EXPAND artist group is comprised of five artists from the Denver metro area: Victoria EubanksJanice McDonaldCarol Ann WaughMary Williams and myself.
