June and July have been busy months with very successful workshops. Also, I am fortunate that my artworks have been added to private collections.
In late June I held an art workshop in Steamboat Springs, CO and just returned from another in Halibut Cove, Alaska. In Steamboat Springs our workshop took place in a historical, little red school house. Alaska in July means it never gets fully dark, with sunsets at 11:30 pm. It was a great experience in both places with the great mountain landscapes and enthusiastic artists. Each location provided abundant charms and inspirations.
In both workshops new artistic paths were offered, inspiring an abundance of new canvases. The feedback from my "Making it Fine Art" Workshops has been very positive. People are telling me they are getting much more than they expected and for many, a real boost to their careers. Some experienced tremendous breakthroughs. I will be doing a two-day private lesson with an artist from Missouri this weekend and new art workshops are scheduled for September and October.
I am happily exhibiting again with my fellow 'To Expand' artists at the Madden Museum of Fine Arts, Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Metro.)
