July News:

In late June I held a Making it Fine art Workshop in my home / studio in the Denver metro. These intimate classes of just 6 artists are always stimulating and fun with breakthroughs in abundance. I have been invited to jury the Colorado Springs Art Guild show October 2-3 and the 2015 Pastel Society of Colorado Signature Exhibit in November 21-22. With each event, the groups are sponsoring my workshops as part of their exhibit schedule. Please inquire   complete info

Check out the Group Show with my fellow  at the Abuzz Gallery in Denver through August 17. Our group will follow with another exhibition together at the Lone Tree Arts Center, Colorado this December 4th.

Some of you on this list will be saddened to hear that my dear friend, fellow art collaborator and picture framer colleague Keith Hoak passed away on July 5th. Many of us will miss him deeply. Keith and his family have long supported my art career and I am very indebted to each of them for their kindnesses and assistance. My deepest condolences go out to you all. He was a gem of a man in every way.

Thank you all for your interest in my works. As Keith would do, let's live and love well.
Ken

Denver International Airport

Should you find yourself at the Denver Airport, take the time to view my work and those of my gifted Expand artists / collogues reproduced in the Main Terminal. You will see the images between the baggage claim areas and behind the car rental counters. This “Here to There” themed display was curated by the DIA Art and Culture Program. The airport desired more color in the main terminal spaces and happily, we were allowed to use it as our playground. Many thanks to my fellow artists and everyone that made this possible!

Our EXPAND artist group is comprised of five artists from the Denver metro area: Victoria EubanksJanice McDonaldCarol Ann WaughMary Williams and myself.
