It has been a marvelous month. I just returned from my group show at the new Arden's Gallery, River Oaks in Houston. It was a great success with works finding homes and more being considered. My next exhibit will be a two-person show with the esteemed painter Kim English at the Total Arts Gallery, Taos May 22 - June 14. View the accompanying article in Southwest Art Magazine. I hope to see you there!
Four commissions have been hung in the Banner Ft. Collins Medical Center and one for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. It is an honor to be a part of these healing centers.
The publication Westword Denver named a group exhibit I was in last year as one of the 5 best Denver area art shows in 2014. Open Press: Celebrating 25 Years of Printmaking at the McNichols Building. Mark Lunning, master printer and owner of Open Press was the curator. From the article: "Lunning selected examples by fifty artists who he had worked with over the period. And the revelation of his picks was that apparently nearly every important Denver painter lined up at his door to have him make their prints. This made the show not only an accounting of Open Press, but by extension of the art scene at large in the city over the last quarter century." Article and photos
In the next months I am offering two Making It Fine Art Workshops in my studio, May 27-28 and June 20-21. The classes are almost filled. It is always a pleasurable and rewarding experience for all of us.

Denver International Airport
Should you find yourself at the Denver Airport, take the time to view my work and those of my gifted Expand artists / collogues reproduced in the Main Terminal. You will see the images between the baggage claim areas and behind the car rental counters. This “Here to There” themed display was curated by the DIA Art and Culture Program. The airport desired more color in the main terminal spaces and happily, we were allowed to use it as our playground. Many thanks to my fellow artists and everyone that made this possible!
Our EXPAND artist group is comprised of five artists from the Denver metro area: Victoria Eubanks, Janice McDonald, Carol Ann Waugh, Mary Williams and myself.
