More volunteers are always welcome: if you or your family or friends would like to join in, please apply to   And its not too late to book a stall, perhaps for fundraising or community information or to sell your crafts or clothing- use this link - but try if you can to get your booking in by Tuesday - there is a late fee for stall bookings after 10th February.

A New Singing Group
Are you interested in joining a small singing group for people who like World Music (particularly music from Eastern Europe / Balkans), called "Drugi Glasovi" (Other Voices)? This is a singing group for people who can sing but are not necessarily professional and can learn by ear but are not necessarily able to read music. There is a cost - if  another three people join then the sessions will be about $15ea week per person.

The practice sessions will be Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm-9pm in Newtown and the group will be led by Mima (vocal coach for Balkanistas and choir leader of Vox Serbicus).

Contact Olivia 022 312 6351 or to learn more.

News for the Newsletter

We send out newsletters at least once a month, in the week leading up to the monthly meeting (on the 3rd Monday of the month, except for December and January), and sometimes twice a month if there is a lot to say. If you have news or information about local events that you would like included do send us an email. We can also post information on the website or on our facebook page.  And if you know people who don't get this newsletter but would like to, please forward this to them - the more people in the network the better!  New subscribers can sign up here.
