Newtown Festival: stall news 3, August 2014

The main reason for this Newsletter is that the organisers of the Mary Potter Hospice Strawberry Festival asked if we could let you know about it, and we were happy to agree as it is such a good cause.  They are planning for a bigger event this year and want to get the word out to potential stallholders.

A month ago when we contacted you last there were 78 bookings in the system – today there are 125!  Thank you to all who have responded so promptly!

 A note about zone choice - a lot of people are ticking zone B in the middle of Riddiford Street as their preferred location.  We would like to please everyone, but there just isn’t room for everyone who wants to be there.  We are keeping some space for returning stallholders (and if you are one of them please book now), but if you weren’t in zone B last year it would be best to choose another zone or at least write a second preference in the box on the form.  Whenever you book we will find room for you – but if you want to have some choice about where your stall is, the sooner the better!   

As soon as you book a stall on line the booking system sends an emailed invoice, and food form information if you are selling food.  Sometimes these emails go astray – if there’s nothing from us in your inbox please check spam or junk mail.  Hotmail sometimes bounces our emails outright!  If there is nothing from us at all let us know at newtownfestival@gmail.com and we will send a copy.
