When we pray we humble ourselves before our Creator, recognizing our deep need for more of Him and less of us. May 3rd is National Day of Prayer and how amazing is it that you are on a Prayer Team! Miracles happen when we pray. We get to see The Power of God at work in our lives and those around us. I must admit that my prayer life at times feels stale and routine. Before I eat I offer up a quick prayer, and when I say quick... I mean rapid. It can also be challenging to get on my knees, especially when I am in a hurry. I realize lately my prayer relationship with The Lord has been more surface than deep. I have no problem going to Him in times of great need. Rarely do I go to Him offering up simple praises that cultivate a heart of gratitude. Therefore I have challenged myself to take the time and write down my prayers. The beauty of a prayer life is personal, never looking exactly the same as the next person. God does not put pressure on us... we place it upon ourselves. He simply calls us to pray. He is waiting for us to call upon His name. He wants to have an in depth conversation with each of us. Whether you have only a few minutes in passing or hours to spare He just wants to hear from you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT) 16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

We have an 18 year old young lady who is passionate, insightful, intelligent, very kind and a conversational adult. She is living in transitional housing and struggling to graduate high school by June 2018. She is attending regular day high school and night school to make up credits. She could greatly benefit from a wise woman who could offer nurturing motivational support. Please keep her in your prayers and if you are willing to help mentor please contact us at the email address below.
God is still on the move,
