Ballarat Cycle Classic - Sunday 10 February 2013

What a Week!

After the wonderful success of the Cycle Classic, it's been a very busy week here at HQ! Tallying up results and packing up everything that goes along with organising such a big event.

We hope you've all recovered from the ride and have started to think about your training regime for next year - date to be announced soon!

As promsed we have some special treats for you today, so be sure to read right to the end!

First things first!

We must extend a huge thank you to some very special people who helped to make the Cycle Classic such a resounding success:

Our wonderful Ambassador Jared Tallent and his lovely wife (and coach) Claire for being so supportive and swapping racing shoes for lycra.  You are both such terrific ambassadors for Ballarat!

The fantastic Danny Frawley - our Patron who has been with the Cycle Classic since year 1.  Danny was incredibly generous with his time and certainly cuts a mean figure on the course

We were delighted to have Scott McGrory join us for the VIP night and ride -  having an Olympic Gold medallist on the course was a real treat and Scott was a great supporter of the event.

One again it was a great pleasure to have Rob Gaylard MC our VIP night and the ride.  Rob is a tremendous supporter and really helps to make these events so special.

We are also indebted to the team at Fulton Hogan Up at the crack of dawn and last to finish, not to mention all the other traffic and events happening at lake.  These guys go about their business and never complain, truly amazing group of guys.  They look after all our traffic management issues and it's all donated.  Incredible!
Thank you guys!
