RainWise 101 Workshop - June 23

At this free workshop you will learn about applying for a rebate from Seattle Public Utilities & King County for up to 100 percent of the cost of your rain garden or cistern. You will hear from homeowners in your area that have completed the rebate process, meet trained RainWise installers and get set to take the next step for your rebate! Thursday, June 23 at 6 p.m.

In 2015, our Market Gleaning Team collected 13,918 pounds of food donated by farmers at the Sunday Ballard Farmers Market and transported it to the Ballard Food Bank. This summer, we need more gleaning volunteers on Sundays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Can you help?

Every Sunday evening at 5 p.m., Ballard Sunday Dinners offers hot meals with dignity to our homeless neighbors. Volunteer positions are still open for preparing and serving the meal the last Sunday in June and for most Sundays in July. Join us!
