Pick of the Blog

A popular blog that we published last year saw Tim Hart examine the difference between hypoglycemia and being drunk. Would you know the difference if you encountered someone displaying the symptoms? Read the blog here >>

Yuletide greetings

The time of year is fast approaching when thoughts turn to family, fun and festivities. However, there could be some little hazardous lurking around the corner just waiting to spoil all the fun. From hot cooking fat in the kitchen, to carrying too many presents on the stairs, we all need to be aware of the potential situations that may arise needing first aid attention.

We liked this post by NHS Choices offering advice on how to keep stress levels down, and suggestions on how to prevent Christmas injuries. Click on the link below to read the full post. What ever you are doing this holiday season, we hope you stay happy and safe, and keep your first aid kit handy. Share your festive photos and stories with us on Facebook and Twitter, and find more hints and tips on the A-Z of health on our website, and also at NHS Choices.

A festive message...

Clive and the whole team at First Response Resuscitation & First Aid Ltd would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2014. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year and would be happy to review your first aid training needs at any time.

Best regards
Clive Haddrell, Cert Ed, IQA, MIfL - Managing Director
And the entire First Response Team
