COMING SOON: New E-Learning Centre

Helping with QOF Quality Standards

Healthcare organisations have an obligation to provide a high‐quality resuscitation service. They must also ensure that their staff are trained and updated regularly to a level of proficiency appropriate to each individual’s expected role.
QOF and The Resuscitation Council
Dental Practices and GP Surgeries must complete resuscitation training on annual basis. This is a requirement set out by Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and The Care Quality Commission. The Resuscitation Council sets the standard of the training required.

First Response FREE E-Learning Modules
First Response E-Learning CentreWe are delighted to support this standard by offering all Dental Practice and GP Surgery staff who have attended one of our training courses a free E-Learning module. The module is a series of multiple-choice questions designed to help maintain the knowledge they have gained on the course until their next annual refresher course is due. Students also gain CPD points for a successful pass.

Who can use the modules?
The modules are suitable for both clinical and non-clinical staff, and will be available online from early April. Member registration will be required to participate. Full details will be given to you when you attend your course.

If you have already attended one of our courses and wish to find out if you are eligible to use the E-Learning Centre, please click here to contact Clive on the website.

And finally...

We are delighted to announce this month that all our trainers have been awarded CPD Presenter Status. This means we are even better equipped to help you and your staff with personal development. Click here for more information about CPD.

Please let us know if you would like to know more.

Best regards
